Coffee Soap inspired by Thailand :-)

In den letzten Wochen habe ich nur selten in meinen Seifentöpfen gerührt und hatte auch keine Zeit zu Posten. Im März waren wir im Urlaub in Thailand, dem auch die Inspiration für diese Seife zugrunde liegt. Im April ging dann die Gartensaison wieder los, die meinen vollen Einsatz erforderte :-)

I'm sorry, I haven't been posting for a while. Mostly because I didn't have time to soap in the first place ... I made only 3 soaps within the last two month! But that's going to change before the summer break :-)

Im Urlaub waren wir an einem Abend in einem sehr exklusiven Restaurant, bei dem nicht nur der Garten und die Einrichtung sensationell war, auch die Farbkombination der Fliesen an den Wänden der Sanitäranlagen haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Kombination von Braun und Türkis fand ich so toll, dass ich diese Inspiration gleich für eine Seife verwenden wollte!

In March we've been to beautiful and colorful Thailand. That's where I took the inspiration for this soap. We've been on an island, in a very exclusive restaurant for dinner. Not only the garden, the pool and furniture was wonderful also the bathrooms. There were brown tiles on the wall and the upper row was in a turquoise and greenish color. I found that this colors suit perfect to each other.

Im Hinblick auf die kommende Gartensaison passt eine exfolierende Seife sehr gut um sowohl die Finger als auch die Füße wieder sauber schrubbeln zu können. In die fertige Lauge kam noch ein starker Espresso um die Seife auch gegen Küchengerüche verwenden zu können. Das Parfumöl Jamaican Café & Walnut Oil passt auch wunderbar - sowie das Sesamöl im Rezept zum Asia-Thema!

When I chose this colors for my soap I was thinking of the upcoming summer and the gardening that's why I thought it would be nice to have something exfoliating like coffee powder in the soap (for dirty fingers from gardening and dirty feed from running barefoot). The fragrance Jamaican Café & Walnut Oil from Scent Perfique perfectly fits to the coffee soap as well as the sesame oil meets the asian inspiration. Additionally, I put a strong brewed coffee to the lye water, so it would work as kitchen soap to remove smell like garlic from fingers as well.

 ÖLE  20% Olivenöl, 20% Kokosöl, 20% Palmöl, 20% Sesamöl, 8% Kakaobutter, 8% Sheabutter & 4% Rizinusöl
 LAUGE   20% Wasseranteil, 6% überfettet
 ZUSÄTZE  Zitronensäure, Espresso
 DUFT  PÖ Jamaican Café & Walnut (Scent Perfique)
 FARBE  diverse Micas & Tonerden

 OILS  20% olive oil, 20% coconut oil, 20% palm oil, 20% sesame oil, 8% cocoa butter, 8% sheabutter & 4% castor oil

 LYE   20% water, 6% superfat

 SCENT  Jamaican Café & Walnut (Scent Perfique)

 COLOR   micas & clays
