Drop the Top!

Ich liebe diese Technik! Ich habe vor einem Jahr schon einmal ein Drop the Top gepostet und diese Technik in den letzten Wochen intensiver gesiedet. Die erste Seife dieser Reihe - Madagascan Vanille & Lavendel (Scent Perfique) - ist exakt so geworden wie ich das geplant hatte: Ein mittig gegossener Drop Swirl, der sich schön in die Seifenbasis einschlängelt und in einem cremigen Topping endet. 

I posted a soap I called "Drop the Top" last year and I really love this technique. It's a dropswirl placed in the middle of a soap - poured from high above. The drop swirl is gently cuddeling to the base soap and finishes it's move with a creamy top. That's how I love it most :-)

Dann ging's ans Nachsieden ... mit Parfumölen die ich vorher noch nicht verwendet habe und Bienenwachs im Rezept (hier habe ich bei höherer Temperatur der Öle gesiedet und daher dickt der Seifenleim gerne mal an).
Das macht aber gar nichts, wenn man ein bisschen flexibel ist und eine Schichtseife improvisiert, dann wird's ja doch eine ganz schöne Seife - Pink Pepper & Green Mandarin (Scent Perfique).

Then I wanted to do the same magic again but was soaping with bees wax and a new fragrance - the combination of these two facts made the soap to thickening up very fast - no problem, I'm flexible and the soap turned out fabulous with layers!

Auch mein nächstes Exemplar - Thai Lime & Mandarine (Scent Perfique) passt gut in die Reihe, wurde aber nicht so perfekt wie geplant (wieder mal mit Bienenwachs). Ich mag sie trotzdem! Die Seife ganz Rechts mit dem gelben Topping ist eine Zitrusduftseife und ist auch im ersten Bild oben ganz rechts zu sehen. Sie trägt den Namen "Banana Sunset" da ich eine Banane mit verseift habe. Die schwarzen Schnipsel im unteren Teil stammen von einer Seife die mit Aktivkohle gesiedet wurde.

Ich verrate es gleich vorab, ich habe natürlich habe ich noch weitere gesiedet ... Bilder folgen demnächst!

The next one was the orange Thai Lime & Mandarin soap (fragrance from Scent Perfique) - it didn't turn out as perfect but still a wonderful and colorful soap. The one on the very right with the yellow topping (you can see it better on the first picture on the top) is called "Banana Sunset" since I put banana purree in the soap batter - it's scented with citrus essential oils.
I can tell you right now: I did some more Drop the Top swirls and will show them to you in the next blog posts!
